Info: I have lived in Moab and Castle Valley since 1979. Even before moving here, I spent summers in Moab visiting and working for an adventure outfitter, while returning to the University of Wisconsin to finish my degree in retail and wholesale management. The allure of canyons and river adventures kept tugging me back until I planted my roots in Castle Valley.
My husband, Rick Lamb, and I built our home in Castle Valley during the early ‘80s, and have since raised our two daughters there. I have watched Castle Valley and Moab evolve and grow over the past 30 years. I’ve seen the determination our community has had in learning to adapt to changing economies, as the uranium and mining eras came to an end, and tourism and light industry emerged to fill what had been a cycle of boom or bust.
While Rick opened and became Principal Broker of Moab Realty, I chose the field of education, and received my second degree in Elementary Ed. from Utah State University, Moab Extension. I taught for 14 years. However, living with a Real Estate professional, one can’t help but absorb a precursory sense of the business, and in 2006 I earned my Real Estate Agent license.
